Educating the Whole Child:
Mind, Body, and Spirit.
At St. Francis School, students are taught, and strive to achieve, the virtues of gentleness, diligence, attentiveness, obedience, contentedness, honesty, helpfulness, patience, kindness, forgiveness, perseverance, and self-control. These virtues are recognized and used in practice during our Diocesan-wide Walk For Virtues event. Students work to collect pledges from family, friends, and community members and then push themselves to walk the greatest number of miles possible to fulfill their pledges and raise needed funds for the school. This fundraiser is consistently held on the First Friday of May.
