Educating the Whole Child:
Mind, Body, and Spirit.
One of the many reasons you have placed your child(ren) at St. Francis School is that you want to be an active participant in your child(ren)'s education within a community of parents who share this same ideal.
We ask that each family volunteer a minimum of 20 hours during the school year to the school and/or parish. This time is given by adult family members.
There are many ways to volunteer: chaperone field trips, assist at the school, or participate in a fundraiser. Volunteer opportunities are many and can be found in the monthly newsletters. At the beginning of the school year, parents or legal guardians are given the opportunity to sign up for any service they would care to give to the school. A background check is required if you choose to volunteer during school hours when children are present.
Parish schools are funded in three ways; 1) Tuition, 2) Parish Subsidy, and 3) Fundraising. All three are vital to ensure we have a highly successful school.
