We're thrilled to feature Jillian Jean, a distinguished graduate of St. Francis School, in our alumni spotlight. Since her graduation from St. Francis School in 2010, Jillian has embarked on an inspiring journey, earning degrees in Communication Studies and Marketing Communications from the University of Wisconsin - River Falls. Jillian's passion for youth ministry led her to join NET Ministries USA in 2021, where she played various roles until she made the bold decision to serve with NET Scotland last summer. Currently, she serves as the NET Team's supervisor in Scotland, sharing the gospel until late June 2024.
Reflecting on her early years, Jillian attributes her solid faith foundation to her Catholic education and her family's commitment to prioritizing God. Her experiences in youth ministry highlight the impact of a strong faith support system, recognizing the privilege she had in cultivating her relationship with God at St. Francis.
Memories from St. Francis School still resonate with Jillian, including interactions with Father Donaldson, playing on the playground, and cherished moments like the annual carnival and Christmas program. These experiences, along with nervous but cherished participation in class masses, shaped her faith journey and continue to influence her life 14 years later.
St. Francis School left an indelible mark on Jillian, teaching her the importance of surrounding herself with a community of believers. She vividly recalls entering the public school in sixth grade and thinking that she was in unchartered territory. This transition helped her to cherish the enduring friendships she has rooted in Christ.
Jillian's story is a testament to the profound impact of Catholic education, shaping not only her academic and professional achievements but also her deep-rooted faith and commitment to sharing the gospel. We're proud to spotlight Jillian Jean as an exemplary alumna of St. Francis School.
