Educating the Whole Child:
Mind, Body, and Spirit.
St. Francis School opened its doors in 1948 as a non-profit, private school dedicated to teaching students in the Catholic faith. Kindness, respect, Catholic values, and academic excellence continue to be the cornerstones of a St. Francis School education 76 years later. We are proud of our rich history in Ellsworth and the network of more than 1,500 alumni who have gone on to live vibrant, successful lives.
We invite you to join us on April 20, 2024, to celebrate and financially support St. Francis School at our 18th annual gala, “Gone Country!” Dust off your cowboy boots and hats, our honky-tonk will feature live music by country singer Chaunte Shayne. Doors will open at 5:00 pm in the St. Francis Parish Hall for an evening of live music, dining, raffles and games, silent and live auctions, and an inspiring pledge.
Proceeds raised at the Gala will be used to help sustain the viability of our school. The cost to educate each student is $11,000 and the average family pays $3,500 in tuition per child. The difference is funded through generous donations from St. Francis Parish and supporters like YOU! All proceeds from the gala will be used to fund the daily operations of St. Francis School.
